Hi. My name is Olivier Cleynen and I’m your host on this site.

I enjoy taking the train, sitting by a river, and countless other ways to daydream.

I don’t enjoy television, automatic car wipers, and fax machines.

I have made: images, conference talks, teaching courses, dreams come true and others not, websites, a model wind turbine, a book, projects, and mistakes.

Why “ariadacapo”

If you enjoy music by J.S. Bach you probably are familiar with the Goldberg Variations, a long series of short music pieces for keyboard instrument. The composition starts with the aria (theme), followed by thirty unique variations which keep the same construction. The return of the theme is called aria da capo.
