Hi. My name is Olivier Cleynen and this is my personal website.

I enjoy windy days, sitting by rivers, and partaking in flight. I am distressed by automatic car wipers and hate fax machines.

I have made images, conference talks, teaching courses, dreams come true and others not, many websites, a model wind turbine, a book, projects, and mistakes.

I earn my living by teaching various topics in aeronautical engineering (this website however is strictly personal). I am a member of PeTA as well as of the EFF.

“ariadacapo”?

If you enjoy music by J.S. Bach you probably are familiar with the Goldberg Variations, a long series of short music pieces for keyboard instrument. The series starts with the aria (theme), followed by thirty unique variations. The return of the theme is called aria da capo.
